James A. Chaston, CPA

James (Jim) A Chaston, CPA has over 21 years experience in public, private and governmental accounting specializing in closely held small business consulting and tax planning. 

Jim received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting and Masters of Taxation from Arizona State University.

Jim is a member of the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).  He is a member of the AICPA Tax Section and has been a member of the ASCPA’s IRS and Arizona Department of Revenue’s Liaison committees.

Jim has a commitment to giving back to the community.  He has shown this by serving on several boards of directors including his homeowner’s association, multiple chambers’ of commerce, Boys’ and Girls’ Club auxiliary board, and is a past President of the Maricopa School District Governing Board.
